About

2150 Glass was started by Rachel Price and Chris Foreman. Both artists graduated from Salisbury University with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Hot Glass.

After completing their degrees, they started working for a variety of studios and artists in the Baltimore area. One of these artists was Gianni Toso, whom they have been assisting for 5 years.

During this time they built their own modest sized torch working studio attached to Gianni’s, along with a furnace working studio in their single bay garage in Baltimore.

A Short Film by Justin Foreman

700 years of tradition in the making, this intimate short documentary portrait follows Venetian Maestro Gianni Toso, a lifelong student of glassblowing. One-of-a-kind glassworks are only part of the maestro’s story, as he presents perspectives on life, learning, and passing the torch to the next generation of young American glassblowers.
